Modern hospitals monitor their patients continuously. The rooms those patients depend on still get a clipboard check a few times a year. We're closing that gap — starting with the theatres and ICUs where drift costs the most.
Drift is invisible
Temperature, humidity, pressure — the conditions a theatre was engineered for move quietly out of range between audits. Staff find out late, or never. The room looks fine. It isn't.
The cost lands twice
First as reactive maintenance — breakdowns caught after the fact are the most expensive kind. Then as risk: the WHO estimates that of every 100 patients in acute-care hospitals, 7 in high-income and 15 in low- and middle-income countries acquire at least one healthcare-associated infection.
